A fascinating creature in both form and spirit, the panther is everywhere. When Louis Cartier imagined his first panther decor in 1914, only a handful of people knew that he had been inspired by Jeanne Toussaint, or "la panthère" as she was known. The jeweler's enlightened muse, this woman of impeccable taste wore short-cropped hair, endless strands of pearls and a cigarette holder held defiantly high. She also nurtured a passion for this most graceful feline.

Cartier returns to this theme for a collection of powerful and bold sunglasses in which the panther becomes the true emblem of triumphant sensuality.

It is possible to have these glasses finished with diamonds. You can have real green emerald or green diamonds placed in the panther eyelets or for example on the spot where now the panther print is you can place diamonds.
