A TEAM OF CRAFTSMEN
Unlike other studios, Antwerp Diamond Setters does everything itself, with a team of craftsmen who together have more than 60 years of experience. Each eyeglass frame has an exclusive and unique design created with attention to detail by the designers. Setting diamonds in a frame can take hours up to more than a week.
ADS do not glue diamonds to a frame, but use four legs - made specifically for this purpose - to hold them firmly in place before setting. After setting the diamonds, they apply an additional layer of gold to protect the setting.

DIAMON
Science is at the heart of craftsmanship. Diamonds are among the most precious gems in the world. Every diamond was formed long before dinosaurs roamed. Some even formed when there were no stars: the youngest diamond on Earth is a billion years old, astounding!
These gems are not only exceptional for their advanced age, but are also distinguished by their hardness from other minerals. As far as we know, diamonds are the hardest material in nature, even 58 times harder than the second hardest mineral on Earth.

FOUR CS
The diamond industry evaluates the quality of diamonds using the "four Cs": carat, color, clarity and cut.

Carat is the weight of the diamond: the higher the number of carats, the larger the diamond. For the frames, we use diamonds that weigh under one carat. These vary for each unique design we create, all according to your wishes. We work with a variety of sizes, measuring the diameter of a diamond in millimeters. This allows us to accurately follow the curvature and shape of a frame. Diamonds start at 0.6 mm and go up to 3.65 mm in 0.05 mm increments.

As for color, our setters use only diamonds in the colorless to nearly colorless range (D-G) to ensure the brightest and most immaculate white quality. For purity, we look at the number of imperfections in the gemstone itself: we only use diamonds with a purity of LC to VVS. This means that they contain little or no inclusions, making them shine optimally.
Cut refers to the shape and symmetry of a diamond. Good symmetry is critical to a diamond's brilliance. To guarantee the most beautiful diamonds, we hand select the most symmetrical gemstones. All our diamonds have a very good to excellent cut quality to make them sparkle as beautifully as possible.

Fluorescence, or the glow that diamonds emit under UV light, is very important for our products. Diamonds with strong blue fluorescence often exhibit less brilliance. ADS's atelier selects only gemstones without fluorescence, so that the stones on your frames all sparkle equally beautifully.

Our collaboration with these prestigious judges offers customers absolute certainty about the quality of the gemstones we use for our custom-made frames. In addition, customers receive a certificate from HRD to insure the frame and guarantee its value for years to come.
The laboratory can be proud of 575 years of experience in the Diamond Quarter. Therefore, a certificate from HRD is an excellent seal of authenticity. HRD uses special technology to imprint the certificate with inimitable features, including holograms and features visible only under UV light. This allows you to enjoy your purchase with peace of mind.
HRD operates completely independently of Antwerp Diamond Setters. And their strict anonymity policy guarantees that all assessment results are completely objective. We pay great care and attention to the quality of our eyewear. This is reflected in our choice of this renowned laboratory.

WARRANTY
Your warranty begins on the date of purchase of your frame and is valid for a period of 24 months. If defects occur during the warranty period due to an error in setting the diamonds, your frame will be repaired free of charge. Prior to repair work, our experts determine whether or not the defect is the result of an error in setting. On the diamonds themselves, we provide a lifetime breakage warranty as long as they remain in the frame.
Expressly excluded from the warranty:
- Defects resulting from accidents or intentional or unintentional misuse, such as accidental bumping, denting or crushing.
- Unauthorized alteration, manipulation or repair, as well as damage resulting from normal wear or aging of the frame.
- Improper adjustment and bending of the frame.
