Most horns come from the Asian water buffalo. Of course, no animal has to die because of its horn. They are very valuable to people in their homeland because they are kept for plowing rice fields and as pack animals.
As a kind of by-product, these farm animals provide the high-quality natural material from which Wollenweber Hornline makes exclusive eyeglass frames.
Frames made of genuine natural horn can be recognized by the beautiful grain and the typical brown and beige tones. By combining it with wood, silk or colored horn panels, many other color shades are also possible.
