Panthere De Cartier
Een fascinerend wezen, zowel qua vorm als qua geest, de panter is overal. Toen Louis Cartier zich in 1914 zijn eerste panterdecor voorstelde, wisten slechts een handjevol mensen dat hij zich had laten inspireren door Jeanne Toussaint, of ‘la panthère’ zoals ze bekend stond. De verlichte muze van de juwelier, deze vrouw met een onberispelijke smaak, droeg kortgeknipt haar, eindeloze parelsnoeren en een sigarettenhouder die uitdagend hoog werd gehouden. Ze koesterde ook een passie voor deze meest gracieuze katachtige.
Gehurkt, staand, klaar om te bespringen, verschijnt de panter in meerdere poses…
Cartier keert terug naar dit thema voor een collectie krachtige en gedurfde zonnebrillen waarin de panter het ware embleem wordt van triomfantelijke sensualiteit.
Het is mogelijk om deze bril met diamanten te laten afwerken. U kunt echte groene smaragd of groene diamanten in de panter oogjes laten plaatsen of bijvoorbeeld op de plekker waar nu de panter print zit kunt u diamanten plaatsen.
